The New England Chow Chow Club is a group of Chowists whose mission is to promote the quality and well-being of chow chows through sporting, educational and social events. We sponsor an annual Specialty Show, Chow Days and a variety of other activities. We network with the Chow Chow Club, Inc. (the parent club), regional clubs, the American Kennel Club (AKC) and welfare and rescue organizations nationwide.

We welcome and encourage Chowists of all backgrounds who live in the New England area to attend a meeting. We hold quarterly meetings so club participation is important. It is also an opportunity to socialize with other chow-lovers. Occasionally we hold educational sessions in conjunction with our meetings. There is also an opportunity for well socialized chows to play together as many of us bring our chows to the meeting!

A membership application is available from our web site. Click the link to either print the form (pdf) or save it directly to your computer. To become a member, you will need to attend at least one meeting. You will also need the signatures of two (2) club members. Once you have completed the form and obtained the two member signatures, forward your completed application to our treasurer.

Once your application has been received, it will be read at two membership meetings. You will be required to attend at least one meeting when either reading occurs. Your membership will be voted upon immediately after the second reading (provided you have attended a meeting). If you have been unable to attend a meeting after the first or second meeting, voting will be postponed until such time as you are able to attend a membership meeting.
